Greg Batcheller

Chairman of the board

Greg Batcheller has long experience in pharma, biotech and medtech as an entrepreneur, corporate director, senior advisor, and business developer. Greg is chairman of the board of Xintela AB, Targinta AB, ImmuneBiotech Medical Sweden AB, CarryGenes Group and board member of Pharmacyl AB and Canacyl AB. His previous assignments includes Chairman of the Board of Monocl AB, Abliva AB, Guard Therapeutics AB, AcuCort AB and Saga Diagnostics AB.

Lars Edvinsson

Founder, CSO and board member

Professor Edvinsson is a leading expert in the field of cerebral circulation. He is world-recognized for his work on vascular innervation and receptor regulation. His extensive research is a major contributor to the current knowledge about the roles of the cerebral vasculature in health and diseases such as stroke and primary headaches. He is the director and founder of the Glostrup Science Park at Copenhagen University Hospital and Professor in Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, and senior consultant in internal medicine, University Hospital SUS Lund. He has received numerous honors and awards including Director and President, International Headache Society; Member, Steering Board, European Headache Federation; Honorary Doctorate, University of Xián, China; Lifetime Achievement Award, American Headache Society. He was recently awarded the Lundbeck Foundation’s prestigious Brain Prize 2021. He is a citizen of Sweden.

Jacob Edvinsson

Board member

Jacob Edvinsson has a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from Copenhagen University (Department of Drug Design & Pharmacology) and a Masters in Pharmaceutical Science from Gothenburg University. He is currently employed as a researcher at the Medical Faculty of Lund University Hospital. His research interests include pain mechanisms, migraine and stroke. In 2023, Jacob was awarded the Stephen Graff Radford and Robert E. Merrill Award at the Headache Cooperative of the Pacific Conference in Ojai, CA.

Fredrik Molested

Board member

Fredrik Molested has a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Law, both from Lund University. After 10 years as an auditor at EY and five years as CFO of the investment company Volito, Fredrik is currently CFO of the family-owned Viarp Invest, a company which is, among other things, an engaged partner in Edvince. Fredrik has broad experience of auditing, financing and investment, for both newly started and established companies, and of the work carried out by company boards, which he has gained at several companies in roles such as chairman, board member and auditor.
